Travel away from the hectic everyday life and stay in our primitive, but very cozy and unique cabin in the forest! The cabin is located on its own close to Hammervatnet, with a hot tub five meters from the door.

Cozy cabin in the middle of the sheep pasture in the forest with a beautiful view of Hammervatnet. Here you find peace - all alone. Fire pit on the veranda and the opportunity to use the hot tub right next door or stroll down to the water for a refreshing bath. A good, old-fashioned cabin with a wood stove, tallow candles and an outdoor toilet. Perfect if you want to enjoy nature in peace.
In winter, when the ice conditions are safe, we offer kick sled and ice fishing equipment for rent. Spend quiet, peaceful days on the frozen lake - alone or with someone special.

There is no electricity or water, but we have a small solar cell system so that mobile phones can be charged, among other things. There will be firewood, a water can and lots of candles in the cabin.

For an additional price, the hot tub that is right next to it can be used
Guest barbecue area by the water with the possibility of renting a rowing boat, tandem kayak, canoe and fishing equipment
We have a private barbecue and swimming area close by that our guests can dispose. A rowing boat, canoe and tandem kayak can be rented for an additional fee outside the following periods: From 20 March to 20 June, traffic in the nature reserve is prohibited due to the nesting season, the same applies during the migration period from 15 September to 15 November.
If desired, you can join a tour of the barn and greet the animals with one of us. Then there will be an opportunity to pick your owen eggs, feed the animals and get some information about the animals we have. Contact us if you want to rent a boat, canoe, kayak, join the barn or want us to pre-heat the hot tub.
There are signs on the farm that will show you the way to the parkingplace and the cabin in the forest. Free parking approx. 70 meters from the cabin. The farm is located just off the E6, 3 kilometers north of the center of Åsen with a train station, gas station and a new grocery store opening in the summer 2026. Only 30 minutes from Trondheim Airport Værnes and 55 minutes from Trondheim.
